We will be releasing the findings of our recent consultation into 'disabling barriers to formal music education' as part of our presentation at Music Learning Live on Monday 12th March. Many thanks to all of you who took part in the consultation! The winner of the limited edition Black Skoog prize draw was Julia Joy, who is a freelance music teacher. The winner was chosen by a student who is currently studying BTEC Music & Performing Arts at Claremont School in Bristol, using Clicker 5 software. Our thanks are also due to the amazing Skoog Music for donating this brilliant musical instrument for our prize draw. The limited edition Black Skoog is currently one of only 25 in the world! Skoog Music have also posted lesson plans for using the Skoog in the classroom from Early Years to KS4 in Resources & Courses.

Finally, Jonathan attended the launch of Sounds of Intent on 2nd February. Sounds of Intent represents a significant breakthrough in understanding and assessing the musical development of people with learning difficulties.
