What is it?
What is inclusion? Making music is the key! was created by musician and activist John Kelly and the rest of the Think22 team and it does what it says on the tin.
It is a sharing of our practice and our thinking. It is not a finished document, because our work is not finished and we hope to continue to learn and grow and find new ideas and ways to be inclusive.
Read it, think about it, question it, try it, rip it up, change it …and find your way on your inclusive journey.
Who is it for?
Suitable for music leaders and teachers working in both mainstream and specialist schools. Also useful for anyone looking to make their work with young people more inclusive – e.g. music hubs, arts organisations.
