ThumbJam is an excellent app with a lot of functions for making music.

This means it can seem a bit overwhelming to new users, so we have created mini-tutorial videos on the basics of ThumbJam.

  1. Open ThumbJam.
  2. Click ‘Sound’ in the top left corner of the screen (see below).
  3. Choose ‘Change Instrument’.
  4. Select an instrument from the pop-out menu (e.g. Trumpet). The name of the selected instrument will display in the centre of the screen (see below).
