Deputy Chief Executive

We are pleased to open applications for the role of Deputy Chief Executive at Drake Music. This is a fixed-term, part-time role, open to Disabled applicants only. The Deputy Chief Executive will support taking the organisation forward as a leader in the creation of accessible, innovative and inspiring music opportunities.

We are looking for a leader who cares about equality, creativity and social justice. If you are keen to get stuck in and make things happen in an inclusive and accessible way, then you could be our new Deputy Chief Executive.

This is an opportunity to join us for a 2-year period at a pivotal time while we review and develop our strategy, organisational structure and practice. The Deputy Chief Executive will be expected to make an impact on the operational development of the organisation, to achieve our mission of opening up access to music for all.

This role would suit someone with skills and experience in turning strategy into operational plans and delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with the friendly DM team, supporting good working practices and accessibility across the organisation. We are looking for someone with the credibility and experience to deputise for the Chief Executive and to take on the day-to-day management of our people and operations.

DM Artists in Residence (2021) – Applications now closed

We are pleased to open applications for 3 musicians to join the DM team as Artists in Residence.

These roles are open to more established musicians/artists (those who use sound and music within their professional practice) and who identify as Disabled. We are looking for artists who are comfortable in their creative practice and ready for more.
