Over the last few months, I have been working with colleagues on ‘experiments’ using social technology to help us better share our work internally and externally.
Tomorrow Drake Music is having a team get together and ahead of it we have been discussing how we can better use social media tools to stay better connected internally and also to better share our work externally.
It was a first for me and it may well have been a first for Drake Music and everyone else in the meeting. In last week’s national managers meeting we decided – I say we – I think it was Danny and Jonathan – to tweet our discussions. Drake Music’s relationship manager, Helen Mahoney, has started using Twitter as a part of her work building up relationships with potential advocates and funders.
Carien Meijer is the CEO of Drake Music. She is also the person behind Drake Music’s Twitter profile@drake_music. Drake Music set up a Facebook and Twitter account around three years ago and Carien has been tweeting for the past 18 months.
