Gawain Hewitt and Ben Sellers from the Drake Music London team had a brilliant time with South Islington Stroke Club.
The club meet every Thursday in Islington for lunch and an activity which this week we were lucky enough to provide.
The group worked with assistive music technology, their voices and the song ‘Will Ye Go Lassie Go’. Gawain played guitar, supported by Ben who played the clarinet.
Participants explored the Soundbeam and iPads, the result was a fully inclusive performance of Will Ye Go Lassie Go after just an hour.
This session was a pilot session, but we hope to be doing more work with the South Islington Stroke Club in the very near future.
