Supported by HMUK and in partnership with Sound and Music, these commissions are awarded to early-career Disabled musicians as a way to develop and extend their creative practice.
On Thursday 14th May we will celebrate the three music creators we have been working with this year: Robbie Ashworth, The Dyr Sister and Remi Fox-Novak.
Each has a different musical style and has worked with a different visual artist to create moving image to support their musical composition.
Remi has explored transformation with digital animation, The Dyr Sister has worked with a collaged feel for hers and Robbie’s uses stock and found footage for a filmic vibe.
Join us for a day of digital activities to celebrate the work of Disabled musicians, beginning with a Listening Party, ending with a livestreamed gig and taking in a Music Industry Panel and comission premieres inbetween.
