Talking DMLab at King’s College London

This June our DMLab Programme Leader, Tim, will be heading to King’s College London to speak about our work on accessible music technology and take part in a panel discussion.

The Worshipful Company of Educators are hosting the event at KCL, bringing together practitioners with considerable experience of leading work in inclusive contexts: Tim Yates from Drake Music, Lou Stein who is Artistic Director of Chickenshed Theatre and Jasmine Wilson, Director of Learning and Engagement at Studio Wayne McGregor.

Each speaker will introduce an aspect of their work and the discussion will explore opportunities and challenges in ensuring arts projects reach the widest possible audience and participant. Tim will give an overview of the R&D program at Drake Music, including talking about the successes of the DMLab programme, our work in Japan with the British Council and plans for the future development of the programme.

The panel will be chaired by Dr Steven Berryman (Chair of the Arts and Cultural Education Special Interest Group and Visiting Research Fellow at KCL) for all members of the company who have an interest in arts and cultural education at all levels.

Non-members are welcome to attend.
