Platform music sessions

Platform is an initiative that offers Disabled adults in Bristol an opportunity to enjoy music-making.

Working with our team of experienced Associate Musicians, Platform provides Disabled adults with the chance to:

  • Explore musical interests
  • Create new compositions
  • Collaborate with others to create music
  • Make friends and socialise

Platform Ensemble

Platform Ensemble provides a unique accessible weekly opportunity for experienced Disabled adult musicians to come together and create, rehearse, and perform music.

Working with our talented Associate Musicians, participants can

  • Share practices
  • Explore new repertoire and new instruments
  • Create, rehearse and perform music

Details:

Platform Ensemble meet on Friday afternoon’s at the Beacon Music Hub from 1pm to 2.30pm.

Delivered in partnership with Bristol Beacon, participants are supported to explore creative music making using both traditional and non-traditional instruments.

Often the opportunities for Disabled adults to pursue creative music-making are limited. We want to ensure that everyone can make music if they want to, in a way that suits them.
