Come along and meet some of our DMLab North group as they demonstrate the instruments they have built and talk tech.

EVENT: A Grand Exposition – 27th – 29th Oct, Manchester

WHAT IS IT? A Grand Exposition is a contemporary blend of Art Fair, Fun Palace, Science Salon and Techno Theatre.
- An exhibition of artworks that blend art, science and technology
- Artist-led and maker workshops for all ages
- The Northern Guild’s Arcade – Steampunk Market & MakerZone
- A Grand Auction (Sunday, 4pm)
- 3 Nights of Live Performance and Entertainment
- Illuminated Talks exploring the social and cultural impact of science and technology
Part of Manchester Science Festival and in partnership with Captial&Centric, visitors will be able to explore 3 exhibitions featuring works that blend science, art and technology.
In addition there will be drop in and bookable ‘maker’ workshops where visitors can get hands on creating their own scientific artworks such as colour change badges and machines made with found materials.
By night the exhibition becomes a space for performance and debate with ‘Illuminated Talks’ from experts in Science, Art and Technology and performances from bands, spoken word artists and musicians.
