This Drake Music project starts in October/later this month and will include a performance by Electric Storm Ensemble and regular rehearsal sessions for this established group. Watch out for original compositions and covers of more well-known songs.
We are also inviting people to join a new group which will support participants to collaborate, create, rehearse and perform music using assistive music technology and traditional instruments.
The sessions will be accessible and group-led. There will be the opportunity to learn new skills in music:
- performance
- composition
- improvisation
- rhythm
- singing
- music technology – use of iPads and assistive musical instruments such as Soundbeam

The group will be based at Barton Hill Settlement and the 8 week course runs on the following dates:
9, 16, 23 October
6, 13, 20 November
4, 11 December
The sessions will run from 11am – 12noon.
