Craig Scott (he/him) and Holly Miller (she/her)

Third organ is a Wearable instrument/system designed and built by Craig Scott for collaborative live performances with performance artist Hollie Miller.

The instrument uses muscle tension sensors, a heart rate monitor and conductive rubber stretch sensors. These translate conscious and unconscious movements into data. The data is then used to control analog and digital sound and light sources. The result is a realtime responsive performance environment which immerses both the performer and audience.

The performance also contains flickering lights (not nearly as extreme as strobing but flickering filament bulbs)
