We’re excited to share that applications are now open for the third round of DMLab’s seed funding grants, supporting the development of brand new accessible musical instruments. We’re offering two grants of £1,000 each to help creators bring their innovative ideas to life — designs that address access needs and push the boundaries of inclusive music-making. Whether you’re a Disabled or Non-Disabled musician, maker, or technologist, we want to hear your vision for a more accessible future in music.
If you’re based in England, over 18, and have an idea for an instrument that could improve access to music-making, this is your chance to get started.
Applications open on Monday 28th July 2025 and close on Sunday 31st August 2025. We welcome submissions in text, audio, or video formats.
