We’re delighted to have opened applications for our Emergents 2027 programme, a professional development opportunity for Disabled early-career music creators in England. Now in its fourth round, the programme will support five artists with a £1,000 creative bursary, along with bursaries for participating in online creative development sessions.
The initiative is part of the Drake Music Collective and aims to foster new talent through collaboration, visibility, and accessible support.
We are especially keen to hear from people who are from the global majority, trans, non-binary, a woman, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and/or from a low-income background. We will ensure that at least 3 out of 5 selected artists are from the global majority.
Selected artists will have the opportunity to showcase their work at a hybrid industry event in October 2027. Expressions of interest are open until Tuesday 4th August, with accessible formats and application support available.
