Over the last few months, I have been working with colleagues on ‘experiments’ using social technology to help us better share our work internally and externally.
A happy accident meant that Belvue School in Ealing started DM’s classic RampItUp! programme at the same time as enrolling six of its students on our Introduction to Music course
At a Connect & Collaborate London – Drake Music event at Shape Arts in March 2013, my aim was to involve 25 disabled artists/musicians as a focus group to help us to develop possibilities for finding and establishing structures for support for disabled composers, artists and musicians across London.

Tomorrow Drake Music is having a team get together and ahead of it we have been discussing how we can better use social media tools to stay better connected internally and also to better share our work externally.
On November 15 and 16th 2013 Music Mark – the new UK Association for Music Education – held its debut conference at Manchester’s cavernous convention complex, Central.
Open Orchestra is a project led by Drake Music together with the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Royal College of Music. Together we are delivering a new schools project working with children from SEN and mainstream schools.
