After completing a master’s degree in Popular Music Performance, Deborah trained as a Primary Music Specialist facilitating inclusive whole class and small group music sessions across schools in South East London. Deborah’s commitment to Inclusion led her to become EDI lead at a London Music Hub and then joined Drake Music in 2022, bringing experience as music practitioner, Music Hub senior leader, and musical artist. As Programme Manager, Deborah manages Drake Music’s Artist Development programme Drake Music Collective. In her own artistic life, Deborah writes and performs music with Berne, an Earth-pop duo driven by climate and social justice.
