Charlotte White plays Bach – Cello Suite No.1 Prelude (Abridged)

Showcase

Charlotte first began composing and performing music when Drake Music began working at her school.

As a teenager she performed the opening bars of the prelude to Bach’s cello suite.

Perhaps not so remarkable, until you learn that Charlotte is profoundly disabled and performed the piece using assistive music technology, with every crotchet and quaver triggered through the slightest movements of her head and thumbs.

This piece is expertly played using a MIDI motion sensor and two switches.
