AMT Ambassadors was an innovative approach to teaching young musicians about Assistive Music Technology.
Our approach to music-making is about using music- and sound-making equipment to enable all participants to play an equal part in the creation and performance of work. This is vital in instilling a sense of ownership and pride in the young musicians.
AMT Ambassadors takes this another step further, training up young people at Springwood Heath primary school to lead music sessions for younger children in the school. A peer-to-peer learning approach which developed role models and inspiration for learners of different ages.
