Electric Storm Ensemble are a group of disabled musicians who meet regularly in Bristol to play music and jam together.
During these weekly sessions participants work together to create, rehearse and perform their own music using assistive music technology and traditional instruments.
The group was invited to play live at Sanctum in Bristol, a large-scale public art project involving artists and performers from all over the city.
Chicago-based artist Theaster Gates was invited by Bristol arts producer, Situations, to create his first public project in the UK as part of Bristol 2015 European Green Capital.
The artist used discarded materials from former places of labour and religious devotion across Bristol to build a distinctive temporary structure which then played host to a continuous programme of sound for over 550 hours.
