A new Drake Music project will start in September in Bristol.
Platform will see the reforming of Electric Storm Ensemble and the establishment of a new ensemble for Disabled musicians.
Electric Storm Ensemble last played together 12 months ago and played their own compositions plus covers of more well-known songs.
We will be inviting new people to join the group, with the opportunity to come along to a series of taster sessions, before forming a new ensemble who will work towards a performance in early 2018.
Meeting regularly, participants will collaborate to create, rehearse and perform music using assistive music technology and traditional instruments.
The sessions will be group-led and there will be the opportunity to learn new skills in music (performance, composition, rhythm and singing) and technology (use of iPads and assistive musical instruments such as Soundbeam).
