This year’s edition of Liberty Festival, presented by the Mayor of London and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, takes place on 15th July.
Visitors can enjoy arts performances & activities, as well as having a go at activities and sports including wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, boccia and even new age kurling.
Taking place from 1.30-6.30pm, there will be an incredible line up of Deaf and disability arts, along with food stalls, DJs and an exclusive new interactive experience from Drake Music!
We are partnering with Arts & Gardens to bring Planted Symphony to Liberty Festival 2017.
If you’ve ever dreamed of smelling a flower and hearing music, hugging a tree and hearing it sing, playing a park bench like a xylophone; then this is for you.
The garden will be open to visitors for half hour slots, then at the end of that time, Disabled musicians will improvise a performance using the garden and the technology behind it.
We’re truly excited about this innovative partnership and this interactive green space – come and be one of the first people to experience Planted Symphony and listen to the music of nature (with a little bit of help from tech!).
