Drake Music at Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival, for National Paralympic Day 2014.
Our very own Drake Music (London) band – Howard Jacques, Ivan Riches, Mik Scarlet and Rosie Vachat – will be playing live to a BFI (British Film Institute) archive film ‘The Fugitive Futurist’ at the Liberty Festival later this month!
Our musicians will be performing at 1.05pm until 1.30pm, Saturday 30th August 2014
They will be launching the festival’s ‘Music Stage & Screen’.
About Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival 2014
This is a fun family festival at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Backed by the Mayor, this free outdoor event showcases the talents of Deaf and Disabled Artists, and will this year be held in the south of the park. This exciting line-up includes live music, street theatre, dance, plus film and fun activities for kids.

About our musicians
Howard Jacques is a highly experienced composer and musician. He has recorded soundtracks for many BBC Radio plays and is a member of Bermuda Triangle Test Engineers, who recently performed at the Science Museum London.
Ivan Riches is a visual/ sonic artist, filmmaker, composer and musician with experience of writing and performing music for the BBC with Disability Programme Unit. Also showing his films with his own music compositions at the BFI Southbank.
Mik Scarlet is a musician, actor/ performer and journalist. Best known for his work with the BBC and Channel 4 as a presenter and for music composition for BBC Disability Programme Unit. He also performed with Graeae Theatre productions the 2012 Para Olympics opening and closing ceremonies.
Rosie Vachat is a musician and songwriter. She is a pioneer in using assistive music technology (AMT) including Soundbeam and iPad. Her live performances include the Roundhouse and City Hall, London.
