DMLab is coming to Bristol!
We are very pleased to announce that our Head of R&D, Gawain Hewitt, will be giving a talk at Watershed’s Pervasive Media Studio.
He is going to introduce Bristol’s creative tech community to our work with disabled musicians, hackers and makers.
Gawain will introduce the DMLab programme and discuss the collaborations and projects that have sparked real change in design and accessible music making.
In particular, he will focus on the Kellycaster, a bespoke accessible guitar that musician John Kelly has designed in collaboration with Charles Matthews through a series of DMLab group sessions and hackathon events.
The free Lunchtime Talk takes place on Friday 24 February from 1pm and is open to all.
The Pervasive Media Studio hosts a brilliant community of over 100 artists, creative companies, technologists and academics exploring experience design and creative technology. It is a collaboration between Watershed, University of Bristol and University of West of England.
