Drake Music are delivering a session at BREAKING THE BUBBLE: SEN/D MUSIC DEVELOPMENT DAY 2016 – Wednesday 19th October 2016, 10am – 4pm at Rich Mix, London.
The day is all about exploring musical progression for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.
As part of the Breaking the Bubble programme (involving Soundcity – Brighton and Hove, Kent Music and Surrey Music Hub), this special event in October 2016 will investigate musical progression for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Get hands-on with AMT
We will be delivering a practical hands-on session for all teachers who would like to learn more about ‘Compose and Perform: Accredited accessible music course‘, from 10.30 – 11.15am.
The session will take the format of a sample lesson from our Compose & Perform course and will feature:
- accessible music technology (AMT)
- real-life teaching tips and stories
- suggestions for new approaches to assessing students
- a wider discussion about progression routes for young disabled musicians
