Drake Music is happy to announce our Emergent Artists for 2022 are:
- Artist, SingSkateDJ, writer, speaker, and podcast host @CrazyLittleAsian
- Composer and musician André Louis (Onj)
- Anti-disciplinary artist and DJ KUNTEAA
The Emergent Bursaries are for Asian, Black and Ethnically Diverse artists who are at the start of their creative careers. It’s supported by the PRS Foundation through their Talent Development Network.
Last year, Drake Music was chosen to be the beneficiary of funds donated in memory of a young man named Charlie Williams, who had tragically died. The Charlie Williams Bursary was specifically open to applications from DJs/Producers, and we’re delighted to announce that @CrazyLittleAsian is the recipient of this bursary.
We’d like to take the opportunity to thank Charlie’s family and friends who kindly donated funds in his memory and made this bursary possible.
We’re very excited to see what the Emergent Artists will produce but the meantime please do check out their work!
