I attended my first TeachMeet at MusicEdExpo 2013. It was refreshing to hear so many interesting and creative people speak in such a short space of time! It was fast paced and energised, with contributors getting straight to their point. The key thing for me was how it opened up networking opportunities and it also had a relaxed feel. I gave my tuppence worth, talking about how the iOS 6 update ‘Guided Access’ has revolutionised how people can use the ipad, offering greater independence for the musician when playing and performing.
