A daytrip to Exeter today.
1st stop, a meeting at Arts Council South West along with a bunch of other regional music organisations plus Youth Music and Music Leader. We discussed ways we could work together on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Music Leaders, music teachers etc. throughout the South West. Lots of great opportunities for DM and it’s really great that Accessible Music making is now being seriously considered in this kind of forum. Another gathering is planned for September when we’ll make some proper decisions on what to do.
Next I visited CEDA, a totally brilliant activity hub for disabled people with a particular focus on arts and technology. Looks like we’re going to be developing work with them over the next few months and, hopefully, years…
