LSO Make Music Day

A musician supports a young person to play a percussion instrument

LSO Discovery organise their inclusive LSO Make Music Day during half-term to provide an opportunity for young people (aged 10-25) with learning impairments, and their families, to:

  • Play different instruments
  • Make new music with others, including professional musicians from the orchestra and partner organisations
  • Enjoy a choice of art and music throughout the day

We work in partnership with the London Symphony Orchestra and will be part of this fun family-friendly event. Members of the Drake Music team will be there making music with everyone who comes along, working together to explore the idea of a “Digital Orchestra”.

What does that mean? Well it might mean we try and make the sounds of a traditional orchestra with accessible music technology, or maybe we will build something completely unexpected! You decide!

This is a fantastic opportunity for families to have a fun day out and make some music.
