Home is Where the Music Is was a pilot programme where we worked with Soundcastle to deliver online music-making sessions in partnership with the ‘Somewhere to Belong’ network. This is a network for families with neuro-diverse early years children, run by the Lloyd Park Children’s Charity in Waltham Forest.
This was one of our first Learning and Participation projects working in a really focused way with early years children. We ran 1-1 sessions online with the children and their families and held 4 Dance Party group sessions. We were thrilled to receive great feedback from the sessions, like this from one family:
“I think this project will actually change people’s lives, especially for little ones like my son. We are super excited for next week and every week.”
Listen to the tracks produced by using sounds recorded by our families.
Tracks 2, 3 and 4 were produced by Lu’Ami
Tracks 1, 5 and 6 were produced by Humble Demi
