Soundtrackers 2 took place in Feb 2016 at Z-arts in Manchester.
The project involved young people with Autistic Spectrum Condition collaborating on new music using sounds from the city as their starting point.
The young musicians recorded live sounds in Manchester then incorporated these found sounds into their final compositions: A Sharp Distance Parts 1 & 2.

We are grateful to the Michael Tippett Musical Foundation for funding this work. The project used Found Sounds in the Urban Environment as a jumping off point.
Urban sounds were collected around Z-Arts in Hulme, Manchester by all participants.
