Introduction to the position
Thank you for your interest in contributing to Drake Music’s important work at the intersection of music, disability and technology. Our mission is to create inclusive pathways for Disabled people in England of all ages to engage in high-quality music-making. We are supported by Arts Council England as one of their National Portfolio Organisations.
The Chair of Trustees is a pivotal role for someone who has experience leading and facilitating safe and constructive spaces for collaboration and decision-making. You may have been a Chair before, but we are also welcoming applications from those who are new to chairing boards.
Our commitment to inclusivity
As a Disabled-led organisation we are extremely keen to hear from Disabled applicants. We also want our board to reflect the world that we want to see, a world where the music sector is vibrant and representative of us all. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and communities. We strongly encourage applications from communities who are underrepresented in our sector, including from the Global Majority, women, and LGBTQIA+ people.
