Turn The Tables is part of our new Artist Development programme. We are running one-off DJ workshop days in London and Bristol, with plans to repeat this in other cities once links are established and funding sought.

We ran our first ever Turn The Tables event in London on Sunday 21st August. The day time was broken up into a series of workshop sessions focusing on the following aspects of DJ skills:

• How to use a mixer

• Cueing up tracks

• Different media formats

• How to beat match

• Sampler/Effects

Our team of DJ facilitators delivered a broad range of techniques including using vinyl and CD decks, using assistive music technology in new ways and testing Tom Slater's Haptix system.

We then held an afterparty open to all, which showcased the talents of some of the participants.

Sing Up Songbank

Drake Music & Sing Up have created singing resources for SEN/Disabled children and are offering training in accessible singing. Our accessible singing resources can be downloaded from the Sing Up Song Bank website. The resources are suitable for primary-age pupils and contain ideas for involving SEN/Disabled children in singing, including children with physical impairments, communincation difficulties & other special needs.
