Partnered for the first time by Historic Royal Palaces, Drake Music commissioned Chas de Swiet, together with Violet Sometimes, to create five haunting melodies to accompany a meandering, lantern-lit walk through Kew Palace gardens. 'Into the Light' was designed and directed by Sofie Layton, who worked closely with a team of artists and a diverse range of participants to create the installation.
