Learning & Participation

We deliver a wide-ranging Learning & Participation programme across London, Bristol & South West, and Manchester & North West. Our programme includes schools-based projects (both in SEN and mainstream settings), performance-based initiatives, mentoring and coaching sessions with young and emerging musicians, early years’ projects, masterclasses and taster/open days.

Introduction To Music

Introduction To Music is an accessible music course that can be accredited at Entry, L1 or L2. The four units come with learning and assessment resources for Clicker 5 & 6 software. read more

We offer delivery and training on the Sounds of Intent framework which is designed to assess and promote the musical development of children and adults with learning difficulties and/or autism. read more

DM Education

DM Education is about better access to accreditation and formal assessment in music. We create and champion accessible music resources & courses, we deliver music lessons and training, we lobby and campaign. read more


Real Accessible Musical Participation for disabled children and young people. RAMPitUp! focuses on three key outcomes: active participation for SEND children and young people; teacher training; and creating a legacy through only using school equipment. read more

Adults: Learning & Participation Programme

Our Adults Programme includes music projects at day centres, one-to-one mentoring and weekly participation sessions. We are keen to promote life-long education and accreditation opportunities in music for adults. read more

Crossing Into Yesterday

Crossing Into Yesterday was a cross-arts, participatory initiative striving to inspire SEND and primary school pupils and teaching staff to connect with local history and heritage, culminating in a public performance in May 2012. read more

Turn The Tables was part of our 2011 Artist Development programme, focussing on DJ skills and assistive music technology. read more
