I launched Prima Vista Braille Music Services in December 2010 in order to make braille music more widely available to visually impaired music-makers around the world. At Prima Vista, we publish scores ranging from classical pieces to the latest hits from "Glee".  These can be bought from Prima Vista's website as either embossed scores or digital downloads.

As well as publishing braille music, I'm committed to finding new ways for visually impaired musicians to create and disseminate their own scores, and have been developing the "MidiBraille" system since 2003.  This enables a visually impaired musician to create both a braille score and a print notation score from a musical keyboard, where text and symbols, as well as notes, are input. The system is designed to capitalise on the aural and manual skills of visually impaired musicians, rather than requiring them to mimic the actions of a sighted computer-user.  MidiBraille is being developed with feedback from beta-testers in conservatoires and university music departments.
