I am a writer, consultant, trainer, and advocate on disability issues. I've been a pioneer in exploring disability culture, including creating one of the first disability-centric art shows and disability performing arts festivals, Disability and the Arts2 at Sonoma State University in 1981. I write and lecture about disability arts and culture and was chosen as A Celebration of Disability Culture-Local Hero by KQED in 2006.
