I have aphasia - a communication disability. It stems from a brain haemorrhage 19 years ago. I am currently a Project Lead at Connect - the communication disability network www.ukconnect.org . I lead at the moment a project called Aphasia Hubs.

I played the guitar until the stroke. Edwyn Collins (songwiter/guitarist) has aphasia and supports the work that we do. As do other people.

We run a music group which consists of playing cds and communicating about them. We want to do more and i wondered whether there is any  more we can offer? Making music is the next step?
