WeShare is a joint initiative between Drake Music and Furtherfield to explore and test how collaborative working between small, distinctive organisations in the cultural sector can improve organisational sustainability while extending access and participation in arts & technologies and strengthen social bonds.
Brief
Our designer has just left the country so we are looking to find a new designer with a flair for web and social media. We need to redesign our current blog to support the development of future WeShare projects. This is a small one-off design project that may lead to others in the future.
Responsibilities
- To support us in developing a design brief for our blog that will support our future work
- To develop the identity of our project and produce visual designs
- To implement designs using CSS and WordPress (with support of our team)
Skills
- Minimum of two years work experience designing for web including:- Working with clients to develop a brief; Developing brand identities; Designing information architecture; Integrating websites for use with social media platforms
- Should have a good undersatnding of CSS and WordPress
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills iwth ability to present ideas and information clearly
- Good technical trouble-shooter (able to work independently)
- Experience of working with accessibility standards
- Attention to detail
- Working as part of a team
- Ideal candidates will also have some experience of working with Drupal and sales portals
To start mid-April. Work to be completed by mid-May.
