’Connect & Collaborate Across London’

How do we as disabled Artist/Musicians, living in London, connect and collaborate and make music more accessible?

group_1To all disabled Artists/Musicians living/working in London, I am the Producer of Collect & Collaborate London for Drake Music.

I am also a disabled artist/musician/visual artist and filmmaker. On the 7th of March ‘13 between 11am – 4.30pm, Drake Music, in conjunction with Shape Arts are hosting an event at Shape Arts Popup Gallery, 40 Gracechurch Street London EC3V.

We will give a short introduction to Drake Music and run a workshop in using assistive music technology (AMT), followed by discussions about how disabled musicians and artists can connect and collaborate. We will also explore how we as practitioners can work with disabled artists in other creative disciplines (visual arts, film, dance, theatre).
