Established Musicians

Drake Music works with more established disabled musicians in different ways depending on their needs and requirements, from building new instruments at the DMLab, to sharing music on our site and hosting events.

We are also one of 40 PRS Talent Development Partners across the country. Drake Music’s Talent Development Programme works to increase the range of opportunity available to disabled musicians via commissions, performance development and masterclasses.

In 2018/19 the focus is on developing new ideas about the relationship between the artist and the audience.

The programme is working closely with two disabled artists to give them space to take creative risks and further develop their artistic practice.

We believe there is a huge need for more opportunities for disabled musicians to develop their work and fan base and this programme allows us to take another step in the right direction.
