This week I attended Pitch in Milton Keynes.  Pitch was on as part of the Sync South East programme.  Sync is a leadership development programme for disabled artists and arts workers. Sync South East is part of Accentuate, which is looking to create a cultural shift around disability in the way we all include, involve and inspire.

I attended the launch of this new programme yesterday, held at King's Place in London.  The two organisations are looking to bring together the BBC Academy's media and digital experience with the Arts Council's extensive knowledge of the arts sector, starting with the organisations funded by ACE. The idea is to deliver a series of 5 seminars and 12 masterclasses over the next 18 months, designed to support the development of the arts sector's media production skills. There were some very interesting speakers on the panel, most notable Tom Uglow who run

Working as the Business Development Associate I'm really pleased to see this fab new website up and running.  The process has been really interesting to observe and it has taken a huge team effort to get this looking so good.  I include Furtherfield when I say team because the two organisations have worked brilliantly to make this work.  Take a look at Furtherfield's site (http://www.furtherfield.org/) and you'll get an idea of just how hard everyone has been working - two new sites in two months!  Exciting stuff.
