This Living Wage Week we are proud to celebrate that Drake Music is accredited as a London Living Wage Employer.
We value our team and want to ensure that is reflected in the wages we pay.
Our Living Wage commitment means that everyone working at Drake Music receives a minimum hourly wage of £8.75 in the UK, or £10.20 in London.
Both rates are significantly higher than the government minimum for over 25s, which currently stands at £7.83 per hour.
Over 4,000 organisations, including us, voluntarily choose to pay the real Living Wage because we believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.
The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers that wish to ensure their staff earn a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum.
Since 2011 the Living Wage movement has delivered a pay rise to over 150,000 people and put over £600m extra into the pockets of low paid workers.
We are proud to be part of the living wage community.
